Daria Bagrintseva's paintings in the collection of the most famous museum in Russia.

With great pleasure we are proud to announce that, starting this day, the paintings "Baby" (31"x40", 80x100cm, acrylic on canvas, 2012) and "Wasp" (40"x40", 100x100cm, acrylic on canvas, 2007) are included in the collection of the most famous museum in Russia: The State Russian Museum in Saint Petersburg. The signifcance and reputation of the Russian Museum in the Eastern European art sphere can be compared the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York or Louvre in Paris.

The State Russian Museum

The State Russian Museum (formerly the Russian Museum of His Imperial Majesty Alexander III) is the largest depository of Russian fine art in Saint Petersburg. The Russian Museum collection contains more than 400.000 exhibits. The museum was established on April 13, 1895. The Russian Museum today is a unique depository of artistic treasures, a leading restoration center, an authoritative institute of academic research, a major educational center and the nucleus of a network of national museums of art.
